Ah heck! Yep! I'm fresh meat here. Just new and still wet behind the ears and rear.

I'll be putting some of my crappy artwork on here. Yes! Crappy! I've seen what the other artists have put on and I feel...kinda...inadequate! *sigh*
I wish I had art lessons when I was a kid. All my art teachers wanted me to do was learn either pottery, model making or sculpture - all of which I'm totally crap at.

I wanted to learn how to paint, but they wouldn't.
*puts out bottom lip*

I fear I am a little too old for the whole ubergoth thing that I used to do when I was younger, but it doesn't mean I'm not appreciative of the aesthetic any more... the only thing I don't like are these wussy, fake pretty boy vampires that seem to be popping up all over the place! Vampires are supposed to be monsters - let them be! :D

Yep! I dislike Twilight too. LOL!
I'm also ';past it' for the Goth scene that I was into when I was younger. I prefer the monster side.

Now I just draw what I can... when I can get off my lazy butt to do 'em. ;)

Funny thing is, I haven't read the books (they have this creepy 'I would feel slightly like some kind of paedophile if I read them' vibe to them...), but I really dislike how vamps have been totally and utterly emasculated by the popularity of the books. As much as I like vamps, there was still an element of 'they're still shit-scary!' to them - on one hand, they fascinated me, but on the other, I still had (have!) plenty of vampire-based nightmares, because they, well, aren't very nice... :D

Me too! I wasn't pretty enough to be the little goth princess, so I went for the artistic and monstrous side (although that didn't stop me indulging in corsets on occasion :lol:). I haven't actually drawn a decent vamp in years (I tend to go more for demons now - I'd like to see the likes of Meyer bastardise them!), but I feel one is probably due soon... :devilish:
